Selective Resonance

How sound targets different tissues

VAT Principles

What is resonance?

Every tissue in the body has a frequency it prefers to vibrate at¹, set by its mass and stiffness. Matching that frequency transfers the most energy to that layer — what we call optimal tissue resonance. Because the body is fluid and heterogeneous, energy also scatters and bleeds between layers, so this is preferential coupling, not absolute, isolated targeting.
